Project Details
This is a project from the Manufacturing Processes course at UC Davis. I designed and manufactured a two-inch aluminum piece that allowed a precision fit on both the north and south ends. The piece I was assigned to manufacture was a fellow student's design, and my own design was given to another student to manufacture. Pictured below is the totem piece design of my peer, which I made using various machines in the UC Davis Engineering Student Design Center (ESDC).
